Championed early on by the Godfather of House Frankie Knuckles, Jamie Principle was responsible for a few of the most haunting and delightful early Chicago house records.
Jamie was of course at Frankie's memorial just a few days in Chicago.
You're all I've Waited 4 was like a big comeback for Jamie after the few hits he had in the 80's.

I agree that Jamie Principle should be far more known than he is. It's interesting that it is not well known that Your Love, considered one of THE early house tracks (and one of my all time favourite tracks) samples the bassline and beats of the 1982 Italian Electra track "Feels Good (Carrots & Beets)".

Not that you need a line drawn to join the dots between Chicago house and italo-disco, but at least it shows an overt connection.
Great to see Jaime Principle championed and of course the sad loss of Frankie Knuckles (Tears was one of the first house records I bought back in the late eighties and it was the first track I dug out after hearing his passing).

It would be great if you could repost the Zebra Crossing album at some point as no-one else on the net has even mentioned it apart from yourself - never mind posted a link to it - a true forgotten classic. Interestingly I read that they started life as an Italian progressive band called 'Hellza Poppin' which explains why they sound so musically tight and accomplished.
I forgot to add, I had some problems with the MF link so even though it takes you to the "listen" page (which i didn't even know existed till now!) there is a download button which takes you to the right page!
It's gonna take some time for the Zebra Crossing album. I have a few external hd's I have to check.
