Morning Music Classic by Any Trouble

Ahhhh morning music a genre relatively unheard of now.  Just think that back in the day a soft rock, new wave or ballad gem could get major exposure on an important crowded dance floor.  Even more incredible to believe that the sounds of pretty could actually bring joy to punters.
WIKIPEDIA THE SAINT
Of course morning music will never be like it once was at the mega super-club in the East Village The Saint.  But that doesn't mean that this style of music should not be celebrated even today.
Any Trouble's Touch and Go is a definitive morning music track.  I'd also have to say it was a nifty name for this relatively obscure group from Manchester.

  2. That's a great overview. I'd have to say I don't really know two of them, Evident and View from the Hill. The others I had except perhaps for Martika which I like but never bought.

  3. Neither Evident nor View from the Hill are rare and are
well worth a listen or 100. Martika still makes me cry every time I hear it (although I'm not a huge fan of the Prince remix).
View from the Hill is on Youtube:

    Unfortunately Evident is not.

  4. I asked some friends and they gave me all the ones I was missing. Mark Thomas gave me Martika but it was alas the Prince remix.

  6. I did a Losing Game post about a year ago. I'll soon have most of the others on the list too. Do you have them all?
