Mike Platinas and Javier Ussía after leaving Max Music, went to Italy to record an album with Memory Records, using songs of their catalog, all of them italo-disco tracks. This megamix was taken from the Spanish record shops being only available via import. It sold 35.000 copies before it appeared, and without any promo! Today is a hard-to-get album. At least Rebbie had one big hit.  The farthest LaToya ever got was #56. I actually think she's had a few cute songs.  The debut single in 1980 If you Feel the Funk was actually a solid release. Hot Potato was a decent R&B dance tune. Here I'm including the 12" of Imagination backed with her cover of Prince's Private Joy.  I particularly like her rendition Michael fans generally hate her She's one of few Jackson family members that ever kind of spoke out against her brother.  I guess she didn't have much to lose since she was pretty much considered a flop anyway. My favorite is probably 2003's Just Wanna Dance where she went under the moniker Toy.

Simply a Synth-Pop new wave masterpiece.  Produced by the likes of the brilliant John Rocca from Freez. The Scottish group had a string of dance hits in a short period from 1983 to 1987.  They released only one about called A Dark Enchantment in late 1987. TOUCH ZIP

There is actually even another version with the female handling the leads.  But I prefer the guy.  In my zip I've got four versions including the super long Hot Tracks edit.

Nuclear Love Anne-Marie Goeman (Annie G.)

The only release by Annie G was Nuclear Love in 1984.  To me it sounds more dated then a lot of the releases from that period.  But it does have a fun NRG vibe to it.  Produced by Bob Esty it came out originally on MCA in 1983 then it was re-released on Linyl Vinyl in 1984.  I couldn't really find any more information on this artist but there was a restricted my space page which looks like it's hers. https://myspace.com/_annie_g  It's there that I got her full name.
