STEFANO PULGA was one of the masterminds behind Gaucho's Dance Forever

refreshed links

This song makes me think of the Caribbean or at least people on a limbo line.  It's got an infectious happy time feeling that borders on hokey.
But since italo disco puts a smile on my face this one never fails to please.
Gaucho Zip
The b side version of Dance Forever called the DJ version is a bit more of a serious groove.  If Side A is too hokey for you then Side B should satisfy.
Gaucho is yet another Italo Disco project featuring Bruno BergonziLuciano Ninzatti, and Stefano Pulga who have quite a prolific output in the genre.  I think Stefano Pulga's Love Taker had more then a few spins at The Saint.

Dharma Plastic Doll definitive italo disco perfection

How can you go wrong with Stefano Pulga and Luciano Ninzatti working together?  As far as I'm concerned in 1982 they created a definitive track of the italo disco genre.
Plastic Doll

I can't give it enough compliments.  It sends chills up my spine like the first time I heard Robot is Systematic or Cybernetic love.

To me the Italo Disco genre reaches it's pinnacle when it's spacey.  The aliens landed in 1982 and they had a Plastic Doll with them.

Funky BeBop

I'd have to say that in 1981 when Funky BeBop came out I wasn't even really aware of the Italo Disco concept.  It so perfectly captured the essence of roller disco and was such a major hit in New York that I took it for granted that it was an American record.

But Funky BeBop was actually produced by Stefano Pulga and Luciano Ninzatti for the seminal Italo Disco label Full Time.  Though it was quickly licensed to Emergency Records in the states and became a staple at clubs like The Roxy and The Paradise Garage.  It features simply excellent use of vocoders.
