This record is sheer magic from the first note to the last.

Even though it was released in 1981 on the tiny label TAP Records it very much has that lush orchestral quality of some of the best of the 70's disco classics.

Whatever happened to Jackie Stoudemire?  Invisible Wind is a treat.  I hope some of you are getting to hear it from the first time and are as enthusiastic as I was the first time I heard it.  It's become highly collectible.

I don't usually offer up a track that is currently listed in my eBay store but I decided to go against the grain this time.  Especially since the mp3 I have is only a 192 and as readers of Disco Vinyl know we only give out high quality mp3's in here. (sold this years ago)

I've mentioned before my obsession with 1983 but I'll tell you once again it was the best year for Italo Disco.  The sheer amount of top-notch Italo is daunting.  Many of which I have never even heard.  The gem I'm spotlighting today Walter Gate's Call me Love is one of them.  Though I had the vinyl up to now I don't think I ever even played it.

It's that fantastic year for italo disco again, 1983.  This time we have a super rare release on Italy's Fuzz Dance label.  This one is called Plastic Love and it's super spacey.

Even the label graphic is cool.  I must be feeling generous today.  I have never written so many blogs in one weekend.  I wish I had come upon a blog like this and gotten so many cool high quality mp3's one after the other myself!

Radio by Jane Hill Eyes Records Italy

The second Jane Hill single Radio was released on Eyes records Italy in 1983.  This catchy ditty features an extensive saxophone solo and has a dance beat but not as intense as some of the other early italo releases from that year.

Jane's real name is Jane Hilleren and she was also in the group Fahrenheit 104.

I love, love, love today's selection.  It's a little later then most of the stuff I post and more on the Hi Nrg tip.  But why not?  I don't make too many rules in here.

This time it's a Canadian record from 1988 called I've only got you to to blame.  It's become a real collector's item and to me it's definitely worth searching out.

Sylve seems to have only had one other release 1989's Toi which is a ballad and i would suspect in French.
