Short Dick Man a bitch track classic (don't want no)
In the early 90's a lot of bitch tracks were released. Some of them became very well known like the ones by Sweet Pussy Pauline that I have blogged in another post. Here I offer you Short Dick Man by 20 fingers featuring Gillette. A track from 1994 it sounds particularly dated yet it's still kinda funny.

Italo Disco Classic Talk About by Phaeax

There is nothing particularly special about Talk About by Phaeax but somehow by the same measure it features everything that is special about Italo Disco.

The vocals are god awful. So new wave set to a disco beat. But to me it's simply disco kitsch to the third power. The music sounds like it was devised in some madman's workshop. Sort of irritating, off-key and yet fabulous at the same time. Talk About instrumental
"Talk About, move on, move on, move on!"
As if all that weren't enough they threw in what sounds like a children's choir and a men's chorus going "la la la la." Which an English speaking person takes for granted but really increases a songs' catchiness in countries where English isn't spoken so well. Especially in 1983 well before internet and cell phones and twitter! Oh 1983 don't get me started. To be young and care-free on the dance-floors of Rome again. Italo Disco was bursting and booming and managing to be camp and synthesizer spacey at the same time. An italo disco fan was born and I didn't even realize it.

Too Much Hong Kong Syndikat
A fairly prolific German Synth Pop band Hong Kong Syndikat released four albums between 1982 and 1987.
Too Much was a huge hit in Europe in 1985 and sort of channels that jazzy pop sound that was made popular by Matt Bianco among other artists.

I'M GONNA DANCE (TAKE ME TONIGHT) RYVON d.j.
Riccardo Novi is Ryvon d.j. from Livorno, Italy. Once a DJ Riccardo is now a chef! He recorded four classic italo disco singles. I've got two to share with you.

Another Italo Disco thrill. So simple and so right. I'm Gonna Dance (Take me Tonight) by Ryvon D.J. was released in 1985 on the Italian label Poker Records.
Highly coveted and hard to find it was recently re-released on a bootleg I'd imagine. Super hard to find in it's original pressing.
Click the blog title for your download pleasure. You'll get two versions of it to enjoy. GET IT
SING A HAPPY SONG Sing a Happy Song was his second release from 1985.
This one above in the you tube clip was just released in 2013!
Up and Down his third release I don't have but you can hear it just above.
