SERIOUS BOOGIE LET ME SHOW YOU LARRY WU

Another refreshed link, this one from a post from seven years ago.  When I first started to write Disco Vinyl.
LET ME SHOW YOU DOWNLOAD
"Wait a minute, I'm not through, let me show you what my love can do!"

For years I thought that Larry Wu was one funky Asian with a soulful voice. But the power of internet sheds a little light. Larry Wu is simply an alias for african american Larry Wedgeworth.

It doesn't matter what the color, this is one serious boogie groove. The square root of funk. It was released in 1984 on Atlantic Records.

If you've got a minute after enjoying this number please click the title serious boogie and it will bring you right into my Ebay store. I've been real busy posting this week.  Tons of different styles of music to choose from. Happy Hunting!

Pieces of a Dream I LIKE THE WARM WEATHER

I do like the Warm Weather. I do like a jazzy funky groove too. This Pieces of a Dream classic featuring Barbara Walker combines it just right. Produced by Grover Washington Jr. how could you expect less then smooth?

MT. AIRY

This Philadelphia based jazz fusion group first broke with the sublime Mt. Airy Groove, 1982.
Mt. Airy is a break dance classic. Combining Jazz, Funk, Electro and Disco it became a track that was sampled often for it's funky breaks.

I've posted this blog again adding a couple more tracks for your listening pleasure.

WARPY DISCO

Colleagues of an old friend of mine, (Keylo H20) are responsible for this amazing video. The cartoon animation is over the top and the music makes me wanna groove in that disco funk goes modern way that hits me just right.

This video below below contains some explicit cartoon scenes, flashing lights and is FOR OVER 18's ONLY.

Directed by Eric Wareheim (Tim & Eric) in association with Warp Records and Warp Films. Music by Flying Lotus. Co Directed/ Animation by Devin Flynn. Co Directed/ Edited by Eric Fensler. More info at dancefloordale.com

It's a little different then my usual post, but why be predictable?
