THE TWINS THE DESERT PLACE

The second single by German act The Twins, The Desert Place was off their The Passion Factory album released in 1981.  Though they came to be known more for Synth Pop and Italo Disco this song is pure new wave.  It's a treasure and a lot more experimental, advanced then their later material.  Though I am a big fan of a lot of their italo disco songs particularly Not the Loving Kind and Ballet Dancer.  THE DESERT PLACE
